medicube PDRN Pink Collagen Volume Multi Balm Stick - Face & Body Balm

I am a huge fan of Medicube so when I saw this pop up on my Amazon homepage I was excited to try it. It seemed perfect to use in the heat when my usual products can feel too heavy. So I was really surprised to see such a low rating - until I saw "tik-tok" mentioned.After reading some of the reviews I can see why people may feel disappointed, someone mentioned 5x plumping and others talk about instant results not happening. Products that "work instantly, replace expensive treatments and remove lines permanently" do not exist unfortunately. Some products will temporarily work immediately - ie lip plumpers - but long lasting improvements take regular use for at least a month. Those results will not be miraculous, either. It's about giving your skin support and the ingredients to add the benefits you are looking for.I have not been using the product long enough to say about the long term effects. I can say that it's a non-greasy (if you apply a normal amount), moisturing and soothing balm that is very handy to carry around and use on areas you want to keep extra moisturised. Collagen is a fantastic skincare ingredient and this has little to no scent which is perfect for use around the eyes and for anyone with sensitive skin. You only need to use a small amount to dab into quite a large area so it should last well. The small amount I dabbed between my brows fifteen minutes ago has almost sunk in. It's nice and light on the skin and leaves it soft.Based on how it feels and the ingredients I think this is going to be a nice addition to my routine. It's such a shame that people get misled so then feel disappointed as this deserves a higher rating than 3.9

Have been using this product consistently for two weeks twice a day and began seeing results after a week though it doesn’t make a hugely noticeable improvement over night this products works in reducing the appearance of fine lines around my eyes. If you don’t put another product on top of this one such as a moisturiser it can feel greasy for some hours after applying and won’t fully absorb but has created no skin irritation and there is also a fairly good amount of the product in the tube though the packaging is slightly deceiving.

Ok so this stuff is good, bit on the dry patches in the morning and at night before usual moisturiser. If not rubbed in it can feel greasy. Make up sits well on top of it.It does help plump out the fine wrinkles and leaves skin feeling hydrated. Is it a miracle stick? no.Is it expensive for how long it lasts? YesI am on my second one so I do like it and would recommend it especially for the older woman entering"that stage"where a little extra hydration on skin is needed, it's a good addition to my skin care routine.If don't want to be buying one every week go easy with it

You've seen this on Tiktok, that's why you're here, probably trying to ensure you buy a genuine Medicube product rather than risking a fake. Good call.I also saw this on Tiktok, and was baffled by the blatant lies and exaggerations, which I believe is the reason this product has 4 stars. Tiktok calls it.. well I won't say what Tiktok calls it in case it gets my review declined, but let's just say they compare it to filler.If you're buying this product because you believe it's got the same ingredients as implants(?), it's so powerful that if you put it on your finger it'll swell up like a balloon, or you will see instant results, then please believe me when I tell you that firstly - you are Tiktok's ideal demographic, and secondly - you're gonna be disappointed in this product.If you're buying it because you've read about volufiline, but maybe don't want to jump straight to stronger forms of it, like the Ordinary serum for example, and you're willing to give the skincare a chance to actually work, you might just love this product.It is not 'vaseline in a stick', nor is it some miracle product that's gonna immediately rid you of your eye bags and crows feet. It is a dose of hydration around areas that need a little more attention as we age, and the ingredients do have some scientific backing behind them - with the caveat that the effects are subtle and are not a replacement for filler. Volufiline stimulates fat cells, causing the plumping effect that's so grossly misrepresented on Tiktok.I've been using for about a week every day, and I am noticing subtle differences in my under eye area, the shadows are lessening, and the delicate skin feels hydrated. Skincare girlies (and guys) know that skincare products need 6 weeks to be tested properly, so I'm excited that I can visibly see improvements in such a short period. I like the application, the product being in stick form means I can easily apply it quickly without worrying about wasted product, which can be an issue with the Ordinary serum - although the comparison isn't fair as the products are completely different in strength. The product is very gentle, and I have eczema, sporadic psoriasis and sensitive skin in general, this has caused no redness, irritation or stinging.Value wise, the price is likely up due to the product going viral, but I was pleased with the results so in my opinion the product is worth it, I would also advise (but you know, who am I to tell you what to do?) to buy the genuine Medicube balm, rather than the crop of 'dupes' that have sprung up trying to cash in on the hype. You and your skin, particularly your eyes, deserve quality ingredients, not a mish mash of cheap imitations smushed together and marketed as a dupe.As I haven't tested the product for long enough to make a fair assessment on the long term effects, what I will say is that at worst, it's a convenient, quality dose of hydration for areas that need it most, and at it's best I can see improvements in glow, skin quality and volume in the areas of my face that need a little top up.Remember - if something seems too good to be true, it usually is. I like the product, I like Medicube in general as a brand, and I would recommend this product based on what I've seen so far.

I'm on a huge Korean skincare trip! The skincare market is so overly saturated with a never-ending stream of new products. Instead of just jumping onto the bandwagon and wildly purchasing everything, I took my time and researched the various elements for my current skin issues. I've seen videos of influencers showing that the Volufiline has bonded with the fat cells in their fingers from applying this product. This was a bit of a turnoff, TBH, but I still went ahead with the purchase. The balm is silky and takes a while to be absorbed. Fine lines and wrinkles did look improved after a few weeks of use. Nothing elaborate or ground breaking. A nice balm stick that is moisturising and plumping.
